Manchester United are ready to make a £24million bid to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
United boss David Moyes is an admirer of Gundogan and is keen to land the 23-year-old Germany international this month.
Although Gundogan has not played for the Bundesliga side side since August because of a back injury, that has not the Red Devils off pursuing him.
It is understood that Gundogan’s representatives have held talks with United, who are desperate to bolster their midfield options.
Gundogan still has 18 months remaining on his contract with Dortmund and has been urged by them to make up his mind over his future.
