El Kanemi Warriors grab their first three points of the season on Wednesday when the defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in a rescheduled Week 2 match played in Kano.

El Kanemi Warriors had lost their first two games of the season agaibnst Warri Wolves and Taraba, will be happy with the victory over Abia Warriors.

Ibrahim Audu scored the first goal for the El-Kanemi in the in the first before Ishaya Benjamin sealed the victory with the second goal, two minutes to the end of the match.\

El-Kanemi choosed Kano as their new home after security concerns could not allow them play in Maiduguri.
