ABEOKUTA—The Ogun State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka yesterday decried what he described as “the parlous state of education in the state” and promised to change its fortune if elected into office on February 28, election.
He specifically blamed the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration for allegedly destroying the enviable educational attainment the state was known for.
The PDP governorship candidate who spoke during the courtesy visit to the Ijebu council of Obas at the palace of Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona in Ijebu-Ode, however, promised to make education the bedrock of his human capital development programme if elected into office.
