Shooting stars of Ibadan forward Femi Ojo is happy with his scoring form after he registered his second consecutive goal in the Nigeria National league (NNL) against Remo Stars on Saturday.
The player was at his best last week for 3SC as his goal helped the Oluyole Warriors to a 1-1 draw against Unicem Rovers in Calabar.
He followed up that performance with the first goal for 3SC against Remo Stars in Ibadan in the 26th minute while olukokun doubled the lead in the 47th minute to make it 2-0.
Remo Stars themselves are a very formidable team as they only missed promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on the last day of the season but found it hard against promotion chasing Showing Stars who now has 30 points from 17 games courtesy of the 2-0 win.
“I am very happy to have opened my goals account in the league last week against Unicem and to score again today against Remo just makes me more proud.
“I thank God for everything but the most important thing for me is to see 3SC back in the NPFL competing with the big boys,” he told FCNaija.com after the game.
3SC will continue their quest for promotion when they travel to Lagos next week to face City of David (COD) in the week 18 fixture of the NNL.
