FUTMinna gets N5.4bn FG/ASUU Development Fund

Federal University of Technology Minna has reviewed they have received
N5.4bn as part of the N200bn development fund, agreed between the
Federal Government and ASUU.
The Vice chancellor of the institution Prof. Akanji, disclosed this while receiving NANS delegates in a convention held in the schools auditorium.
With heart full of joy the VC stated that he was happy to see the FG. fulfill part of their promise with ASUU by distributing the development funds to the universities.
The zonal convention also had Comrade Jude Imagwe, who is the senior special assistant to the president on youth and student matters, in attendance.
Mr Imagwe, said the on going ASUP strike could still be solved through dialogue, therefore sympathizing with students and also asked the two parties to embrace dialogue.
