The African Movie Academy Awards 2014 went down last weekend and it wasn't without its excitement, thrills and low moments.

It was the 10th edition of the ceremony and it was held at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Center, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State.
The fun part was definitely not complete without outstanding musical performances by Ghana's Fally Ipupa, Nigeria's Flavour Nabania and comedy from Aproko, Funny Bone.
The glorious moment when movie stars from all African nations walked the red carpet added its own side attraction to the night event.
Then the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived...calling of nominees and winners.

Nollywood should cover its eyes in shame as the movie industry always touted to be the Giant of Africa failed to live up to expectation.

But the likes of Clarion Chukwura, Patience Ozokwo, and Bob Manuel Ndoku left Bayelsa with smiles on their faces.
