Al-Makura Accuses Eggon Leaders Of Aiding Ombatse

Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state has accused both the political and spiritual leaders of Eggon of condoning the activities of the outlawed Ombatse militia.

Making a paper presentation at the Department of State Service in Abuja, governor Al-Makura disclosed that several security reports indicated that the Eggon cultural development association has ignored the activities of the
Ombatse militia.

Meanwhile, the spiritual leader of the Ombatse group, Mr Lega Alu popularly known as Baba Alakyo failed to show up before the commission of enquiry set up by the state government to investigate the killing of 74 security operatives.
