Defending champions Rafael Nadal is through to the fourth round of the French Open.
The record eight-time winner, who is yet to drop a set in his current campaign, made a grand total of 10 errors before seeing off Argentina’s Leonardo Mayer 6-2, 7-5, 6-2 on Day 7.

The top seed rattled through his opening set in the Court Philippe Chatrier in 30 minutes and dominated the tie all through en-route to extending his record at Roland Garros to 62-1.
“When I see the Chatrier stadium full, it’s very emotional for me,” said the Spaniard, whose business man-like approach to the third round tie threw the 65th-ranked Mayer off balance.

He will play Dusan Lajovic for a place in the fourth round.
Nadal’s fellow Spaniard David Ferrer also made a walk of his third round tie with Andera Seppi earlier on Saturday. Ferrer beat Seppi 6-2 7-6 6-3.
The Spanish fifth seed will play South Africa’s Kevin Anderson next after he took the battle of the big servers thanks to Ivo Karlovic’s retirement on Court Two.
Frenchman Gael Monfils outlasted Italy’s Fabio Fognini 7-5 2-6 4-6 6-0 2-6 in a thrilling game on Court Suzzane Lenglen.
In the women’s draw, fifth seed Petra Kvitova was toppled 6-7 (3-7) 6-1 9-7 by 2009 champion Svetlana Kuznetsova in the third round.
A leg injury disrupted the Russian’s progress, after winning the first set on tie-break.
The 27th-ranked Kuznetsova next plays Lucie Safarova, who saw off Ana Ivanovic 6-3 6-3.
“I left out there everything I could,” said Kuznetsova. “I came up with a win, but I was very close to the loss as well. I was very strong mentally and really happy with that.”
The highest seed remaining in the women’s draw, with Serena Williams, Li Na and Agnieszka Radwanska already out, Simona Halep (fourth seed) beat Maria-Teresa Torro 6-3, 6-0 to set up a fourth round tie with American Sloane Stephens.
Stephens advanced into the last-16 with a 6-3, 6-4 win nover Ekaterina Makarova.
Jelena Jankovic(Srb) beat S Cirstea (Rom) 6-1 6-2 on Outside Court.
