Rapists murder 50-year-old woman after marathon sex in Ogun

A 50 year old woman who was simply identified as Mama Friday was yesterday in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital murdered by a four man gang of rapists who had marathon sex with her before committing the heinous act.  

 

 

The incident occurred in the odd hours of Thursday night at Oriyanrin area of Abeokuta metropolis after the suspected criminals gained entrance to the woman’s room through the window.

The victim, who was a mother of five, was said to be residing alone at the boys-quarters of the main building, while her husband, a bricklayer, works in Ifo town. Saturday Mirror gathered that neighbours of the victim were unaware of the attack on Mama Friday until the following morning when her lifeless body was found on the bed covered with bloodstains while her underwear was found at the edge of the bed.

A neighbour, who identified herself as Mariam Idowu, told Saturday Mirror that the absence of the victim, who was known for her punctuality at her stall where she sold pap, aroused the curiosity of her colleagues who rushed to her residence only to discover her lifeless body in her room.

The Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident also added that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime. Adejobi, who confirmed that the woman was murdered, also said that the command has commenced investigations into the matter.
