Plateau State Violence Escalates As 37 Villagers Are Killed

The military authorities in Jos, capital of Plateau State have confirmed the killing of 37 persons by gunmen in several villages in the state.
The killings were carried out last night into early hours of today in Barkin Ladi local government area of the state.
The corpses of the 37 persons have been retrieved from different parts of the local government attacked by the gunmen.
Today's killings are the worst in recent months of the attacks ravaging villages in the troubled state.
