G-7 Governors meet Obasanjo

Five out of the seven aggrieved governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), early today held a closed door meeting with former president Olusegun Obasanjo at his Hilltop private residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The meeting, which lasted for about two hours, had in attendance, Governors Musa Rabiu Kwakwanso of Kano state, Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Murtala Nyako of Adamawa as well as Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi (Rivers state).
The governors of Kwara and Sokoto states, Abdul-Fatai Ahmed and Aliyu Wamako were however, not part of the entourage.
The governors rode to the Abeokuta Hilltop residence of Obasanjo in an unmarked black BMW jeep with Governor Amaechi at the wheel ..
Details of the G-7 Governors’ meeting with Obasanjo were not made known as journalists were prevented from gaining access to the venue of the meeting.
