Senator Jim Nwobodo, who was the first executive Governor of old Anambra State has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and he says the only reason he joined the APC is because he wants his people to be part of the Federal Government at the centre.

– Embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA) Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) named Nwobodo as one of those who benefited from the arms deal sharing to the tune of N500m.

– Nwobodo, who is currently being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a telephone interview with Premium Times recently revealed that he only received the sum of N100million from the PDP for “campaign logistics” not from Mr. Dasuki. Going further to say that he has never met Dasuki in person.
